3. Havoc in Heaven

This book depicts the "Handsome Monkey King" Sun Wukong's havoc in the Celestial Palace and the Netherworld. Afterward, the Jade Emperor dispatched the Star Lord Taibai Jinxing to deceive him into the Heavenly Court, appointing him to the lowly position of "Protector of the Horses." Upon discovering the truth, Wukong, in a fit of rage, returned to the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit and declared himself the "Great Sage Equal to Heaven." The Jade Emperor then sent Taibai Jinxing once more to the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit to reappoint Sun Wukong as the "Great Sage Equal to Heaven" and entrusted him with the management of the Peach Garden. When the Queen Mother of the West organized the Peach Banquet without inviting Sun Wukong, he, upon learning of this, stole the peaches, imprisoned the fairies, deceived the Barefoot Immortal, stole the imperial wine, and pilfered the Nine-turn Elixir, causing a great catastrophe.
