4. Battle with Yang Jian

It is said that Sun Wukong, having caused a great uproar at the Peach Banquet, fled back to the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit, where he was merrily drinking celestial wine with the seventy-two demon kings and his four valiant generals. Suddenly, he heard that the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit was surrounded by the heavenly soldiers and generals, impenetrable as water. Moreover, a heavenly general had come to challenge him to battle. Thus, he dispatched the One-Horned Demon King to lead the seventy-two demon kings into the fray first, while he himself followed with his four valiant generals to provide assistance.
